A glamorous idyllic countryside wedding was the theme to reflect the style and personality of the couple and their families. The wedding was also inspired by the glamour of Grace Kelly, ones of Charlotte Balbier’s idols.
The Wedding Reception took place at Iscoyd Park, Charlotte and Teddy fell in love with the venue from the moment they saw it. The couple wanted to create a magical atmosphere for the wedding to leave delightful memories for the guests. The main room was decorated plentifully with taupe, nude, blush pink and ivory flowers. Flower chandeliers hung down from the ceilings and different sized centre piece table arrangements contributed to the grandeur of the room. Lit with hundreds of candles, gold and clear glassware, floating candles created ultimate luxury. Every table and chair was covered in fabric from the Charlotte Balbier and Amanda Wyatt collections, plenty of lace and sequins for extra glamour. The flowers and wedding were themed by Red Floral www.redfloral.co.uk. The pink and gold place names were designed by Rose and Ruby www.roseandrubypaperco.com.
A heart-shaped pink Charbonnel et Walker box was presented to each guest as a wedding favour.
The two wedding dresses Charlotte Balbier wore on her big-day are now part of her new Iscoyd Park 2015 collection, named ‘The Charlotte’ and ‘Iscoyd Park.’ The ‘Charlotte’ dress worn on the main day was a silk organza ball-gown skirt with French trim and three-quarter length sleeves. Teddy wore a custom made Hugo Boss suit and Jeffrey West shoes. The wedding featured 8 adult bridesmaids, all wearing different style dresses in the colour midnight blue to capture each individual’s personalities. The two flower girls wore a dress of pure shot silk fabric with tulle overlay with oversized sash to match the ‘Charlotte’ dress
The wedding cake was bespoke created by Cakes by Krisanthi, a four-tired caked of soft nude pink shade with delicate polka dots and handmade sugar flowers. A C&E crest was the main feature and complimented the three tables of desserts laid out for our guests. For the evening reception, the guests enjoyed a gipsy band and our two bespoke cocktails, ‘The Buster Bear’ dedicated to our Dog and ‘The Tilly Woo Woo’ to Charlotte’s parent’s dog.
