Bridal fashion is such an exciting topic… who wore this? Did you see her In that?? Well, being we are a magazine we get to see all the Newest Pretty Bridal stuff! Recently, Panache Bridal Salon in Costa Mesa, invited us to a trunk show of a mother and daughter haute couture designer team, Naama & Anat. This show would be The Couture Designers Orange County debut. I love Trunk Shows as it allows a closer look at a new or special collection with an opportunity to speak to the designer or representatives.
The team of Naama Anat stated the following before their Trunk Show. “It has always been a dream of ours to have our gowns in Orange County, California and on June 29-30 that dream will become a reality as we will be having a trunk show at Panache Bridal in Costa Mesa. “Panache Bridal is a California based bridal company with four locations across Southern California covering Los Angeles, and Orange County. With stores located in Beverly Hills, Pasadena, Costa Mesa, And Santa Barbara. Panache Bridal has reached across the country and opened a location in New York City, New York.”
Naama Anat Haute Couture has eloquently designed gowns with intricate details. The duo began the line in 1997. Trained in the best techniques with designs and details that flatter a woman’s body.. They have produced Naama Anat Trunk Shows around the world.
Panache’s Salon is set so perfectly for an experience. Music, champagne and light hors d’oeuvres to entertain guests while waiting for the fashion show. Then…anticipation… like waiting for the bride… the first gown appears on the runway! Gazing at each gown trying to take it all in, the fabrics; French Lace, tulle chiffon, oh and all the sparkle! Sheer looks are definitely show stoppers, with options for lining the bits that need covered. Low backs and Elegant necklines give amazing accents to the figures. One of the most striking accessories was a cape that definitely would make any bride feel more powerful!
After the fashion show I was able to look at the gowns again close up because I noticed so many little details. One I especially liked was the strands of pearls on a few of the low backs. 3D flowers with glistening accents on another gown. I felt like if I were a bride I’d say I want to try these on because they so work for me. That’s part of the point of shopping and doing your bridal homework. Finding the perfect gown for yourself, that makes you feel like “Yes, I found IT!” I’ve dressed and photographed brides for many years and the one thing I do know about finding your gown is it gets the most photographs of any outfit you’ll ever wear, so make sure you know it’s the one for you, just like he knew you were for him.

What is a trunk show?
A “TRUNK SHOW” is a special event in which designers present their latest collection of wedding gowns to brides.
Most bridal salons only carry select gowns from each designer year round, therefore a trunk show is an excellent opportunity for brides to see an entire collection of gowns from a single designer. Be sure to check OCBridemag.com calendar for future Trunk Shows in 2018.
